What snow service can include
Ask what is included before the season starts.
- Driveway plowing
- Walkway and step clearing
- Salt or ice melt on walks
- Commercial lot plowing
- Per-storm or seasonal plans
Sign up early
Snow crews fill their routes before winter. Signing up in the fall is the best way to make sure you are on the list when the first storm comes.
Protect your pavers and plants
Rock salt can damage pavers, stone and nearby plants. Ask about safer ice melt products for stone patios and walks.
How it works
Getting help is simple. You fill out the short form on this page. We pass your request to one local landscaping company that serves your town. They call or text you to set up a visit.
At the visit, they walk your yard with you, listen to what you want, and look at things like slope, sun, soil and water flow. Then they give you a written quote. You decide if you want to move forward. There is no cost to ask.
- Step 1: Send the short form (about 1 minute).
- Step 2: A local landscaper reaches out to plan a visit.
- Step 3: You get a written quote for your yard.
- Step 4: You choose if and when to start.
Questions to ask before winter
- At what snow depth do you come out?
- How soon after a storm?
- Do you clear walks and steps or only driveways?
- What ice melt do you use near plants and stone?
- How are you billed: per visit or per season?
Protect your hardscape
Some ice melts can harm concrete, pavers and plants. Ask what product is used and how much. Plastic or rubber-edged blades help protect pavers.
